Marek Szyryk
Born in 1966. He is a graduate of Training College ( Higher Pedagogical School) in Opole. Nowadays he lives and creates in Lodz where he is an adjunct in the PWSFTiT ( Public Higher Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz).

He was a photograph lecturer and also the museum, theatrical and advertising photographer. His works and compositions were presented on many individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. Artist also deals with haiku – a form of Japanese poetry. His photograph way bears the attributes of the old craftsmanship, wherein the artist not only created objects, but also thanks to the art he perfected his own artistic personality. The artist often invokes to the Japanese poety haiku by exploration of this what is fleeting, fleetingness, and also immemorial and beautiful.

Performer has recently saw about with the wet colodion method . This is a very sensitive and whimsical process - every piece of glass plate must be manually coated by colodion, sensitized to the light, then quickly exposed and developed, when it is still wet. This technic is to a great extant unforeseeable - every plate is exposed to the individual treatment susceptible to photographer’s excitements and his artistic provocations.
